Port Jefferson Branch Customers:

 

This weekend (May 18-19), buses replace trains between Huntington and Port Jefferson as a grade crossing in Kings Park is upgraded and concrete ties are installed.  Busing will start at 12:35 AM Saturday, May 18 and continue thru 2:35 AM Monday morning, May 20. Expect up to 26 minutes additional travel time.

 

Eastbound customers will board buses at Huntington for stations Greenlawn thru Pt. Jefferson.

 

Westbound customers board buses up to 18 minutes earlier for Huntington and transfer to trains for points west.

Metro-North train service for Saturday, May 18, and Sunday, May 19, remains suspended between South Norwalk and New Haven until further notice due to Friday evening's train derailment, and subsequent sideswipe, in Bridgeport. Reduced, hourly service will operate between South Norwalk Station and Grand Central Terminal.  Regular service will operate between Stamford and Grand Central Terminal. Regular service will be in effect on the New Canaan and Danbury Branches.  Bus service will be in effect between Waterbury and Bridgeport with no train connections. Yankee game day service will be in effect between Stamford and Yankees-E. 153rd Street Station.
