   I have to say- my wife used to live on the F in Manhattan and i hated it and I heard even worse things when i moved to Brooklyn. But either im the luckiest SOB or its improved- every time i go to the F, its there within in minutes.

   F stands for FOREVER. You wait forever for it to come, and when it finally comes, it takes forever to get to your destination. Worst line of all. Usually very dirty too. I moved out of Astoria to Park Slope, and the F train was so bad, I moved back to Astoria within 5 months. The F train is absolutely the WORST.

   This just may be the slowest train of them all. It's never on time, and it takes forever just to move from one station to the other.
