   This train is nearly non-existent on weekends. Forget about getting from Brooklyn to Manhattan in less than an hour (at least from 7th Avenue to 14th Street).

   At rush hour in the morning and evening, this train is CROWDED and often slow - making standing sqeezed between strangers very unpleasant. Other times of the day it's fine.

   this is my fav nyc subway line. fast, efficient, on time, air conditioned - i love it.

   Usually one of the most reliable Queens-Manhattan-Brooklyn subways. Don't wait a long time for it on weekends and a good crowd usually gets on the train at all times of the day. Though, when there's heavy rain the line tends to shut down which is a great inconvenience as it's a major line.
