Extremely crowded in the mornings as it is a major route from Queens and from Brooklyn. But not quite as crazy as the 6. During morning commute, very frequent. TIP: trains coming in from Brooklyn into lower Manhattan usally have two trains, one following closely after the first. The second is almost always less crowded. Don't shove in...wait. |

I spend hours of my life waiting for the F train - I can't count the number of times I've gotten stranded in Brooklyn in the middle of the night, unable to get home. Take ANY other train if humanly possible. |

Unreliable, slow, infrequent from Queens toward Manhattan/Brooklyn and worse in the evenings back into Queens. |
