   It is definitely safe. Well traveled and well lit. Most stations seem to have attendants. Now if they could just do something about all the beggars...

   I would not eat food on the train, but the stations and train cars are not disgusting.

   During rush hour,forget the schedule. Completely unpredictable. If it rains or snows, plan extra travel time. Off peak, it sticks to a schedule, but there is a long time between trains.
