Astaria, a restaurant and bar, offers an Uptown look and feel in the heart of Downtown San Mateo. Our robust California fare begins with the freshest, seasonal local ingredients. The result is some of the most delicious food on the peninsula. Guests are met with a blend of classic architecture and reassuring comfort. Tables and oversized booths with views of 3rd Avenue rest under 17' high tin ceilings and a thoughtfully appointed interior. Our private dining room can host up to 300 guests. The bar area runs the entire length of the east wall and includes two, seven person booths and bar-style tables. At Astaria, the best ingredients make the best signature cocktails and each season brings new creations. The award-winning wine list is custom fit to our menu as well.
