The Body Connection offers training and supervision to nutrition professionals that are interested in learning more about how to treat eating disorders. You will learn about intuitive eating techniques as well as better understand the psychological parameters of working with the individual who has an eating disorder. Maria, the owner, utilizes nutritional therapy, a process of integrating healthy nutrition practices with the underlying deeper issues surrounding the core of the disorder, to better treat the patient. Supervised sessions are provided to registered dietitians and/or certified dietitian nutritionists who are already seeing patients with eating disorders in their practice or work place.
