Established in 1983 in New York's Chelsea neighborhood, Chelsea Frames soon distinguished itself with its unique approach to custom framing. Changing hands early in 1995 to its present owner, this "neighborhood" framing shop was soon hailed by Art Business News (October 1995 issue) as being "a leading force in encouraging and supporting the art movement to Chelsea," New York's new Soho. Since then, Chelsea Frames has become a distinguished framing studio and gallery quoted in New York Magazine (June 1999) as "well worth the drive into the city." Our complete line of services includes custom archival framing, custom mirrors, oil and canvas restoration, paper restoration, linen backing, photography restoration, installation, pickup and delivery.
