Description: Welcome to Holy Cross Lutheran Church located in Libertyville, IL. We are a Christian community committed to celebrate God?s love for all creation. We boldly proclaim the Gospel that frees us to witness, minister, and live the Christian faith in our everyday lives.We invite you to join us for Sunday services and our many Youth activities. The people of Holy Cross are its backbone and its spirit. Congregational membership has grown from 225 in 1991 to over 1,300 today, with approximately 45% of the members joining in worship services each week. Sunday School enrollment for the recent school year was more than 225 students. While Holy Cross does not set goals for membership growth, the expanding ministries and welcoming, caring atmosphere continue to bring new believers into the church family.A number of Holy Cross members are actively involved, either professionally or voluntarily, in church wide organizations. Examples include the ELCA, LSSI, Habitat for Humanity, and other outreach groups.
