Description: I Coppi is a rustic and authentic Tuscan restaurant located in the East Village, owned and operated by Lorella Innocenti and her husband John Brennan, which opened in September 1998. Lorella brought her mother Alberta Innocenti, a home cook from Pistoia in Tuscany, to create a seasonal menu featuring specialties from generations of Italian family recipies. Maristella Innocenti arrived from Florence in 1999 to join her sister in running the restaurant and soon after moved into the kitchen as head chef to faithfully reproduce her family recipes. She prepares food like its prepared in the home, not like what you find in most Italian restaurants. One of the most charming elements of the restaurants is its beautifuly arranged back garden. Tucked away in the east village, I Coppi gives you the romantic seeting you will need for an evening to remember. Come join us! Read more
