Named after the owner's beloved dachshund, Prudence Designs continues to dazzle even their long list of "seen-it-all" editors and celebrity clients with whimsical, but elegant floral arrangments. Thinking outside the vase is what Grayson Handy and Arturo Quintero flourish on. A cluster of orange and yellow blooms and a branch of lemons get artfully put into a homey, vintage, yellow coffee can. Or modern, monochromatic buds in signature Prudence chartreuse get wrapped in coconut bark and raffia for a perfect take-away gift. The two designers are inspired as much by their surroundings as by their travels abroad, using indigenous materials and inventive color palettes. The result, never a dull "mum - ment"! The enthusiastic, creative energies that run through the veins of this dynamic team bring excitement to every design, from a small nosegay to their high-drama, big-event centerpieces.
