Description: Riverview Restaurant & Tavern has been a local landmark since May 1st, 1907 when it first opened as a hotel in the bustling resort town of Algonquin, IL. The hotel closed down and reopened in 1936 as a restaurant, playing a major role in the community as a local landmark as well as being a favorite local gathering place for great food and drink. Over the years, our patrons have created the long and interesting history of our establishment and we invite you to continue this tradition!
