Scuderia is a modern day American interpretation of an Italian Trattoria, serving simple Italian comfort food in the heart of Manhattan's Greenwich Village at 10 Downing Street (At 6th Ave). The restaurant features a bar, several communal tables, a banquette, an eight-foot long bar-height Chef's Table, & an oak-floored mezzanine that overlooks the bar & dining room, & can be used for private dinners & parties as well as more intimate dining separated from the larger dining area. Designed to suit the discerning NYC palate & consciousness through an emphasis on fresh, homemade, high quality ingredients, with an eye on locally-sourced, & some organic offerings, the menu features Northern Italian comfort foods, Italian reinterpretations of classic American items; and accents of Venetian flavors & spices reflecting the heritage of the Executive Chef.
