    Service Change  Posted: 04/03/2014  6:13PM

A temporary Danbury schedule will be in effect starting Saturday, March 1, until further notice, to provide a more reliable service while contractors for Metro-North and the Connecticut Dept. of Transportation (ConnDOT) work to resolve the problem with the new grade crossing system. This problem has necessitated "Stop and Warn" procedures to ensure safe train movements past each crossing, resulting in delays. The schedule will include time adjustments for most weekday peak-period trains as well as substitute busing for weekday off-peak and weekend service.
